It’s a little hard to talk about yourself but that’s just what we’re about to read.
We hope you’ll like our site which is not just for reunions. It’s something we think you will want to share with other OHS 71ers and anyone else. If you have something to add or change you’ll find lots of ways to do that around our site.

Bob Bensen
He makes reunions.

Bob was one of the quiet members of our class. Senior year he was president of the Ski Club and Computer Club. Yes, OHS had a computer club started by Mr. Bodie back in 1970. Bob was, and still is, very much into music. In 8th grade he and his friends took the Rapid downtown to see his first concert at the Music Hall. The lineup was The Choir, Blues Magoos, The WHO, and, ah the shame, Herman’s Hermits. In his defense he left after The WHO. Sophomore year he got to see Cream and Traffic with Eric Borwell at the Allen and Led Zepplin in a tent at Thistledown. Bob went to Kenyon College and got a degree in Economics. After school he joined the family business, a national software and services firm which provided Transportation Software to school districts across the country. During his career he had the opportunity to travel all but two of the states (Mississippi and Alaska) as well as other parts of the world. Bob will never be an empty nester. His children vary in age from 37 to 8. Bob is happily retired as a stay at home dad and loving every minute.

Bud Kraus
He makes web sites.
You may not know or remember Buddy Kraus (as he was known back in the day, but that’s ok. And if you do you may not know that he played (still does) guitar. Now put a real sharp eye on that T-short and you just might find an Orange Hight School lion on it.
Bud graduated from Ohio U and in 1977 moved to NYC to work in the insurance business serving his clients in the entertainment industry. When the Internet arose he left to start his business of teaching people web design skills. Today he teaches WordPress, the world’s leading Content Management System (about 25% of all web sites like this one – use it) in class and online for groups and individuals. He also works on web sites that use WordPress.
Some of you have met and know his wife Arlene who he met in New York City in 1980. She hails from Fostoria, OH, loves to come to any High School reunion and is the better part of the team. Their son Gabe is a biomedical engineer and our daughter Bree is a photographer. Both live (with boyfriend) and girlfriend in NJ and are seen all the time.
One thing I learned about Bob while putting this site together. When it comes to knowing “What ever happened to…?” he is the Mr. OHS Class of 1971 authority.
